Reaching Forgotten Peoples
Pioneers UK & Ireland is a faith-based mission movement that combines gospel proclamation with social action to reach spiritually isolated communities. Thanks to a global network and a wide range of projects, it empowers both overseas workers and local UK-based ministry. With clear values – a passion for God, focus on unreached peoples, team-centred collaboration, innovation, servant leadership, and an ethos of grace – Pioneers mobilise everyday Christians into transformational ministry around the world.

a dozen eggs partnered with Pioneers UK & Ireland to develop a refreshed brand identity that would reflect their evolving mission while maintaining a sense of continuity with their legacy. Alongside the primary brand, we also created a dedicated sub-brand for Pioneers Arab World, carefully building on the foundations of the previous identity to ensure a cohesive visual relationship between the two.
At the heart of the redesign was the logo. We retained the distinctive swoosh element — an established and recognisable part of the original brand — as a visual anchor, preserving brand equity. This was paired with a clean, modern typeface that brings clarity, professionalism, and a sense of renewed purpose to the overall identity. The result is a brand system that feels contemporary and confident, yet still rooted in the heritage and values of Pioneers.

The Pioneers logo has been designed to sit comfortably on imagery that is rich in story and context. It pairs seamlessly with descriptive, narrative-driven photography — images that capture real moments, authentic interactions, and the environments where Pioneers work. Whether overlaid on landscapes, cultural settings, or portraits, the logo remains clear and impactful, enhancing rather than competing with the visual storytelling.
The colour palette is deep and considered, reflecting the richness and diversity of the global communities Pioneers serves. Earthy tones and natural hues bring warmth and authenticity, while bolder accent colours provide contrast and energy when needed.
