An independent designer based in Nottingham, Emma Britton creates glass splashbacks for a range of private clients throughout the UK.
Emma’s much loved quirky style has proved popular throughout the UK, with Emma fitting her bespoke designs in country cottages, townhouses and new builds. Alongside her bespoke commissions, Emma has designed a number of collections – of which samples can be purchased via the site – with Mono and Willow and Red Admiral being our personal favourites. Historically, Emma has done very well at trade shows picking up a number domestic clients. This meant the website needed to work well for purchasing samples – users that already had an understanding of what they want! Together with users who came across Emma Britton’s work elsewhere, and wanted to browse.
We designed and developed a site that would showcase Emma’s designs, ensuring they took centre stage! The site includes a shop, selling both samples and products; teatowels, glassware and trays.
When I was ready for a new website, I’d outgrown my start-up one and I wanted a professional website that was also personal and showed off exactly where my business had got to, seven years in. I knew there was no-one else I wanted to design my site but a dozen eggs. I first met Fran and Jo when they were in their early days, like me and even then I was impressed by their creative branding and design. As a designer myself it was incredibly important to me that my website should be beautiful as well as functional. They surpassed my expectations, they not only designed me a website that is robust and works on all devices but they brought so much knowledge to the project along with their team. The got into the head of my customer and made sure that it was easy to use but my story and the uniqueness of my brand was expertly communicated. They have added value to my business. I will use a dozen eggs for other digital and print design projects in the future and would not hesitate to recommend them to you.
