
Naomi Light
Naomi Light is a couples therapist and relationship coach who seeks to help couples overcome challenges, draw closer to each other and reduce the stress around conflict. Based in Petersfield, Naomi Light has supported many people through her 1-2 coaching and online resources. She is a member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society.
Naomi approached a dozen eggs in search of a brand that could strike a delicate balance — one that reflected the sensitive, personal nature of her face-to-face counselling work, whilst also delivering bold, impactful messaging across digital platforms. The identity needed to feel warm and approachable in intimate settings, yet confident and clear when engaging with a wider audience online.
We began by designing a logo that embodied the essence of Naomi’s practice: calm, compassionate, and grounded. A relaxed, flowing script font was paired with a timeless serif to create a sense of balance — soft and relatable, yet refined and trustworthy. This combination mirrors Naomi’s counselling style, conveying a professional presence that remains empathetic and reassuring.
From this foundation, we built a brand system that maintained a strong sense of balance throughout. Every element — from typography and colour palette to illustration and photography — was chosen to support Naomi’s mission: to communicate with honesty, warmth, and clarity, whether in a one-to-one setting or on a larger social platform.

The overarching brand takes inspiration from nature, incorporating flowing leaf illustrations and detailed mark-making to create a rich, organic visual language. The hand-drawn elements have been designed with flexibility in mind. They can be easily layered, scaled, and rotated to build dynamic, varied compositions, particularly effective across social media platforms where visual interest and adaptability are key.
Supporting this natural aesthetic, the photography style is close-cropped, soft and minimal. This approach ensures that the focus remains on the overlaid messaging, allowing key content to stand out without too much visual distraction.
Understanding the need for consistency and ease of use, we worked closely with Naomi to develop a brand system that her team could apply with confidence. A comprehensive brand guide was created, featuring practical examples, clear design principles, and adaptable templates. This ensured that everyone—from designers to content creators—felt equipped to produce cohesive, engaging visuals tailored to a wide range of formats and platforms.
