Head Start tuition offers private after-school tutoring to primary aged children. The Solihull based service aims to increase motivation and enjoyment in key school subjects through fun and engaging programs.
In order to launch Head Start tuition, the service needed a coherent brand that could be applied across their marketing material and tutoring packs. It was also important that the brand had scope to grow and encompass other key-stage groups in the future. a dozen eggs provided a number of design elements to compliment the brand, including leaflets and stationery.
Whilst the primary audience for the tuition service would be parents of school age children, we wanted to make sure the designs felt suitable for primary aged kids. Ensuring maths and english tuition felt fun and easily accessible was the task at hand.
Head Start tuition later asked us to create a homepage design to ensure the branding we had created fed into their digital presence. We couldn’t help ourselves and developed some fun illustrations to bring the site to life. We are especially fond of the fish!
We worked alongside Mark Cloke who developed the rest of the site to build the front end.

Head Start tuition runs small group sessions based in Balsall Common, Dorridge, Hampton in Arden, Knowle, Solihull and Tidbury Green. All their tutors are experienced and qualified teachers and teach reading, writing, spelling, handwriting and Maths. They look to provide a relaxed and supportive environment – supporting children with a variety of needs.
