Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket Foundation

The Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket Foundation exists to use cricket as a force for good. Working across the county and beyond, the Foundation focuses on participation, inclusion and wellbeing – creating opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to engage with the game, develop skills and build stronger communities. From grassroots programmes to targeted social initiatives, their work is wide‑ranging, practical and deeply rooted in local impact.

Our role was to help bring that work into focus visually, across a series of small but important design projects. Using the Foundation’s existing brand guidelines as a framework, we worked on the design and typesetting of their strategy document, a set of posters outlining their core pillars, and their annual impact report.

The strategy report needed clarity and confidence. We developed a clean, structured layout that made long‑term goals, priorities and actions easy to navigate, balancing accessible typography with considered spacing and hierarchy. The aim was to create a document that worked just as well for board‑level discussion as it did for partners and funders encountering the strategy for the first time.

Alongside this, we designed a series of posters that distilled the Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket Foundation’s core pillars into clear, engaging statements. These pieces were about visibility and alignment – helping staff, volunteers and partners quickly understand what the organisation stands for and how different strands of work connect back to a shared purpose.

The impact report brought everything together. Using the same visual language, we combined data, stories and outcomes into a document that felt human and grounded, not overly corporate. Thoughtful use of colour, imagery and typography helped guide readers through the results, while keeping the focus firmly on people rather than numbers.

Across all pieces, the emphasis was on consistency, readability and respect for the brand. Small projects, carefully handled, that help a meaningful organisation communicate its strategy and impact with clarity and confidence.
