The Bell at Pensax is a multi CAMRA award-winning pub overlooking the Worcestershire hills. Known for its selection of beer, cider and perry on tap. The pub has become a destination for those wanting to sample new ale.
With welcoming open fires, and plenty of atmosphere, a dozen eggs leapt at the chance to extend the Bell’s brand. Under new ownership, the family run pub needed a refresh – making it clear that the pub was now a destination for food as well as ale.
The new owners of the Bell at Pensax approached us to develop an illustration and design style that they could use on a variety of material. Menus, adverts, social media and web. Quickly, a design style emerged that worked well for their location – the rolling hills of Worcestershire. With a rich history together with open fires, wooden floors, hanging hops and pew seating the brand built itself!
Web design and development
Alongside the brand refresh, a dozen eggs were asked to design and develop a new website for the Bell at Pensax. The team were keen to ensure the users to the Bell’s site found the useful information as quickly as possible. Menus, contact details and booking were all prioritised, with interesting information about the history of the Bell set further back. Scattered throughout are the illustrations developed as part of the brand extension.
Currently, the holding page for the Bell at Pensax can be seen on their web address, with the full site coming soon.
Bell at Pensax Beer Festival
The Bell have resurrected the famous beer festival, and asked a dozen eggs to create an identity that could be used for years to come. With live entertainment, camping and plenty of beer we developed a set of designs that would work on social media.
